I stamped the background multiple times with the small map stamp and Vintage Photo Distress Ink. After grunging it up with inks, it became a seamless map. Then, I stamped the sign with Walnut Stain. After stamping the sign, I restamped it one more time without reinking to add some depth and texture. I stamped the motorcycle with Walnut Stain and embossed with Walnut Stain Distress embossing powder. Sponged some ink on, used my paper distresser (thread cutter) on the edges and added Walnut Stain to enhance the rough edge. I inked the red cardstock with Vintage Photo to age it a bit and was very happy with the rusty red color I got.
When I was putting it together, I decided I wanted a ribbon of some sort on it. I didn't want fru-fru, obviously, but wanted something more. I got into my ribbon and found this one by American Crafts that was a PERFECT match to the colors I had used and added a bit of green which is always a good thing, right? The main image is pop dotted to lift it off the card.
So...enough babbling....here is the card. I am sure he is going to love it. He always loves the things I make for him.
Have a creatively wonderful day!!!
