Vote....

Please, please, please, if you are registered, remember to vote today!! This is the most important election in our lifetime and if we want to see change...see our country be all that it can be, you must have your voice be heard. Vote not only for yourself, but for the children in America who may not have much of a future if we don't act now. I want my children to have something to look forward to. I want to be able to know that they are living in the same wonderful country I have lived in for the past 34 yrs.
I am not turning this post into a political statement. Oh how I want to scream from the rooftops about my candidate...but I won't. It doesn't matter who you are planning to vote for...just do it!
I am going to go and vote in a few short hours. Dh and I will go together as soon as he gets home from work.
Also, in case you didn't know....after you vote, scoot yourself over to your local Starbucks, tell them you voted and they will give you a free 12 oz coffee!! How cool is that? So, if you weren't going to vote before, I bet you want to now. Who doesn't love free coffee? lol
AND....if you post a comment telling me that you voted today, I will do a random number generator tomorrow and send the winner a couple of clear stamps I have and a pin that declares that you voted! So there's more encouragement to vote!!!
Have a creatively wonderful day and BE HEARD!

Like you, dh and I will go to vote together when we both get done with work. I'm taking a scrapbooking magazine along; I'm afraid we may have a long wait, but even that's no excuse NOT to vote!

Aloha from Hawaii Robin!
Always love how your blog progresses! Although we're last, and it's dark and rainy...energy is in the air! We love to vote in our precinct and see all our neighbors! We'll vote on our way down to work this am...then it's off to make the rubber! We finished the new Chanukah stamps yesterday...and we can't wait to start stamping the wood and trying them out!
Have a glorious day!
Palms waving aloha,

I voted!!!! Always do. In fact, one slow election day (when there wasn't much interest in anything on the ballot) I was there late in the afternoon and the table lady remarked, "I was wondering when you all were going to come in!" LOL!

Not only did I vote, but I badgered my DH into voting (he's not a bad guy... just not happy with all the mud slinging). AND, I just found out that my MOM voted - which is big news because (get this!) she hasn't voted since REAGAN!
Wow. Talk about unexpected voters! lol
