Here is a monochromatic sample that I made using the Fortune Teller plate. I absolutely love this image. I used her before and colored the image in. I wanted to show that it is just as wonderful when you just stamp and don't color it in.
Materials: Fortune Teller (Artistic Outpost), Colormates (WorldWin Papers), Distress Ink-Faded Jeans (Ranger), Paper Trimmer (Fiskars), Tape N Roller Plus (Kokuyo), Ribbon, clipiola
The background for this started by me just playing around. I had a flourish sitting on my desk that I had cut on my Silhouette for another project. I layed it on white cardstock and sponged Faded Jeans ink over it. It looked pretty cool, so I kept doing it randomly placing the flourish on the cardstock. Then I took the negative piece of cardstock that I had cut the flourish from and sponged ink through that. Finally, I stamped "magic" randomly on it. Quick, easy background...done. Layeres it onto white cardstock and then onto a navy card. Stamp main image on white cardstock with Faded Jeans. Then, I lightly sponged ink around her. I would say the rest is self explanatory. Just a bunch of stamping and layering.
Be sure to chech out the Artistic Outpost Blog to see what the other designers did with these plates!
Have a creatively wonderful day!
