Still on a pink and green kick...

I have seen these ornaments before and I decided I wanted to try one with my Nestabilities scalloped circles die. It was so simple to cut them all out and create this fun ornament. I am just tired of red & green or blue & silver, so I am trying to use some non traditional colors to still create some holiday goodies. These colors make me think of a beautiful Victorian Christmas tree that used to be in a friend's house when I was growing up. The mauves and sage greens just scream that memory for me.
I embossed the die cuts with Technique Tuesday stamps and gold embossing powder. I think it added a nice touch of elegance, don't you?
Here a view from the top of the ornament so you can see how it is assembled. It is just 8 scalloped circles that are alternated to create a ball.

For full instructions, please visit the Paper Crazy blog.

I discovered something today too. If I keep making all of these ornaments (am I becoming an ornie queen in addition to puzzle piece queen? lol), I really need something to be able to hang them to photograph them. I am going to be on the lookout for something to use or I will ask me sweet dh to create something that will help me take pics of these easier.

Have a creatively wonderful day!

VERY pretty; and look like they'd be quick to make. Especially with a scalloped punch or the Nestabilities. I used to decorate one of our bedrooms with a mauve &
sage green victorian theme!
