Hi everyone!! Its Monday....do you know what that means? It's time for another fun challenge over at
The Pink Elephant! This week, we are having a recipe challenge and the ingredients are stamps, punches and embossing. Here is my project:
I made a bookmark. My girls are such huge readers and Shanyn is always requesting a new bookmark to use. She likes to alternate them alot. Since it is a bookmark, I didn't use alot of embellishing. I also forgot to be a good recipe follower. Much like when I am in a real kitchen, I kind of strayed. I did stamp...the owl is a stamp. But, once I got it all done, I realized that I hadn't used punches or embossing like I should have. I 'technically' have them both on here....the Nestabilities are embossed and I punched a hole to put the snap eyelet in for the fibers and I rounded the corners with a corner rounder punch. So, they are both there, just not jumping out at you! The words are computer generated.
Materials: PAPER: Colormates-Heritage White, Yellow (WorldWin Papers), DCWV Spring/Blossoms & Butterflies Packs STAMPS: Owl (The Greeting Farm) INK: Versafine-Onyx Black (Tsukineko) OTHER: Prismacolor Pencils/Gamsol, Nestabilities-Circle, Scalloped Circle (Spellbinders), Corner Rounder, Standard Hole Punch, Eyelet Snap, Fibers, Tape N Roller Plus (Kokuyo)Thanks for stopping by! We hope to see you over at The Pink Elephant! Have a creatively wonderful day!

Robin, I love this book mark!! SOOOO fun and cute!!! ~lori R
Oh Robin I see what you meant by the comment on my blog now - it really must be catching this 'forgetting the ingredients' business. Well done on covering your back - of course nestabilities are embossed and of course the hole is a punch. It's a fabulous bookmark anyway.
