Artistic Outpost - Greetings from Home

It's Wednesday...that means I get to post a creation for Artistic Outpost! I am so loving the Home plate lately. There are so many fabulous stamps on that plate!

For this card, I stamped the main image and colored it with chalks and added details with a white pen. Then I stamped the trees twice, cut out and colored with chalk. I then distressed the edges of the main image and layered in onto a panel of kraft colored cardstock that was embossed, edges distressed and inked. I added the trees on different levels with pop dots. Then, I wrapped lengths of jute twine around the card panel, intertwinging around the tree trunks and securing at the back. I unraveled loose ends for texture. I stamped "Home", inked, distressed and layered onto black and added it to the card on pop dots. Finally, I mounted the whole panel onto a black card with pop dots and added black Dew Drops to the top corner.

Materials: PAPER Colormates-Heritage White/Black, Crafty Creations cardstock (WorldWin papers) STAMPS Home plate (Artistic Outpost), alpha stamp set (Studio G) INK Versafine-Onyx Black (Tsukineko), Distress Ink-Antique Linen (Ranger) OTHER Decorator Chalks, Paper Distresser (Tonic), White gel pen, Embossing Folder-Distressed Stripes (ProvoCraft), Dew Drops-black (Robin's Nest), Jute twine, Pop Dots

Thanks for stopping by! Have a creatively wonderful day!
