May your Christmas...

I hope everyone is enjoying this holiday season.
I am always running around like a chicken with my head cut off this time of year...but now that I work full time, I am really behind. I have given it to the fact that I just can't do all that I normally did. I cut my baking WAY down and also can't make everyone I know a handmade card. I don't even have time this year to make handmade gifts like I normally do. Makes me sad, but I just don't have enough hours in the day.

I did get this new plate, Snowy Woods, from Artistic Outpost yesterday in the mail and just HAD to make something with it. I actually made two cards and will share the other one later.

This one isn't one of my favorite cards. It didn't turn out like I envisioned. I will try this again later when I have more time, I guess.

I stamped the snowflakes randomly on glossy cardstock (available at Artistic Outpost) with resist ink. Then I rubbed Adirondack Denim ink over the entire thing to make the snowflakes appear. Then I stamped over them with silver ink to add some dimension. Tied a bow along the one side with pretty snowflake ribbon.
Finally I stamped the sentiment with Denim ink and added it with dimensional tape. I have to say that the sentiments on this sheet are STUNNING. They stamp so crisp and clean.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week and remember....only 9 more days til Christmas!! YIKES!

Are you kidding me? If this didn't fulfill your vision, then you have high visions. lol!! I LOVE this card Robin! The bow and colors of this are simply stunning, it really popped out in my blog reader which is why I finally made it over here to say hello. The denim and silvers are so classy. Happy Thursday Robin! And if it makes you feel any better, I am wayyy behind as well, but 'tis the season. It will be merry regardless if we're super crafters or not. :D
