Tim Holtz 12 Days of Christmas

So, who is checking out Tim Holtz'sblog and his 12 Days of Christmas Tags? I am checking it out daily!! If you aren't aware of it, please check it out by clicking on his blog in my favorite blog list to the right. He is not only sharing some awesome techniques with everyone, but you can also get a chance to win some great products!

Now, I am seriously inspired by his work, so I just had to take a bit of time to just play and make a couple of my own holiday tags. I didn't have any tags...can you believe that?? So, I got out some of my WorldWin Papers and made some! This is alot of fun! I just visited Tim's blog before coming here and am itching to do today's tag now!! I need to go bake some cookies though. Maybe tomorrow I will be able to create in my studio!!!

My Santa one is inspired from Tim's day 3 tag. I didn't emboss mine with the multiple colors of distress powders. I just used the Vintage Photo powder. But, I am very happy with how mine turned out. I used WorldWin Papers Doublemates cardstock in Totally Tan (light side) and Graceful Geranium (deep side), Distress inks-Fired Brick, Pine Needles, Peeled Paint, Distress Embossing Powder-Vintage Photo, Tim's Santa stamp (Stamper's Anonymous), German Scrap crown and border strip (PaperArtsy).

My snowman one is inpired by two of Tim's tags. Days 3 & 5. I used the background and beads from one and the snowman and snowflake stamps from the other. This one uses WorldWin Papers Hi Gloss White Smooth cardstock, Distress inks-Black Soot, Faded Jeans, Alcohol Inks-Denim, Stream & Stonewash, Mixatives-Pearl, Tim's snowman stamp (Stampers Anonymous), Snowflake stamp (Hero Arts), Let it Snow stamp (unknown), Stickles glitter glue.
