Poll and a share...

Well, my weekly poll is done. I am not surprised to say that 'stamps and inks' won by getting more than half of the votes. We all love our stamps, don't we? Second place was 'whatever I have purchased recently'. This is also true of us paper artists. Whatever toy we bought recently is always our favorite.....that is until we get ANOTHER fun tool!!! lol Thanks everyone for voting on my poll. I will be posting another shortly, so I hope I will get even more votes on it. Tell your friends to come vote. The more the merrier!!

Now, I created this fun card today. I was looking through some Avery printable papers and came across this adhesive backed printable vellum. I thought I would give it a try. I love the ethereal look of this gypsy girl. I didn't like how see through the vellum was though. Her face looked awful with the music tissue and striped vellum behind them. So, After the card was done, I printed out her face again on text paper, cut it out and adhered it over the vellum image. I love how her face is prominant and the rest of her is more muted. I need to apologize for the ribbon. It matches the other purples perfectly in real life, but for some reason, it came out more blue in the scan. I hate when that happens!
