Two Scoops of Rice

Whew!! This will make 5 cards I made today!! I just couldn't seem to stop creating. Maybe it was the fresh air coming in the window or it could have been that I was having too much fun coloring digi images!!!! lol

These images are freebies from Two Scoops of Rice. I thought they were both so cute and I just had to color them!

Isn't this little fairy sweet? She was the freebie for February. I just hadn't actually done anything with her yet. She screamed to be colored in bright and cheery colors, so I obliged. She is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol, but then I went over everything with Oyster Twinkling H2Os to add a sparkle. The background is embossed with a Sizzix folder...wedding I think. And then I went over it with a white metallic inkpad to continue the shimmer. I cut a pistachio card and border punched the bottom and added a panel of blue behind it. The top corners on all of the panels are rounded and edges inked with the white metallic inkpad. Pretty simple, but oh so cute!!

this one is SUPER simple too. Colored the image with Prismas and Gamsol and added Stickles to the heart and flower. I stamped the sentiment and pen stitched around both pieces. Rounded all corners, embossed the background and layered it together. Added a bow, punched flowers and buttons. Easy Peasy!

Okay, I am done bombarding you with cards today. It just felt SO good to create for fun!! I haven't seemed to have time to do that lately and it was wonderful to just PLAY!! Thanks for stopping by!
