Catch up time!

Okay, so I give up on posting daily in my blog. I just don't have enough hours in a day to do everything I want to do. I have decided that I will just post updates when I find the time. It is more important for me to do what I love to do most....create! :)

I have gotten alot accomplished in the past week. On an online group that I am a member of, we are doing a study group of Claudine Helmuth's Collage Discovery Workshop book. I have had this book for ages and haven't had the motivation to try any of the techniques in it. Now I do! I have had a ball working on the first four techniques in the book. We are doing a technique a week, but with my schedule, I felt it would be a good idea to work ahead when I have time. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about collage and fun techniques!

I also took some time this week to make a new watchband for my watch. I wanted to make something that reflected my personality. I used rollabind disks and shrink plastic to make a watchband that really makes an artistic statement!!

Not much has happened in my house this week. No excitement to report, but then there never is. Our life is very boring....same crap, different day kinda thing. I think that is why I love my art so much. It is never same and adds some spice to my life!
