Card for my Mother In Law

I showed you all the special date book I made for her. Now, I will share the card I made. I am so enjoying playing with my Silhouette! I always put a butterfly on my MIL's cards because she has a special fondness of them. I found this digital design when browsing at Quickutz site.

I decided to use it with Doublemates cardstock. I could cut both pieces out of the same piece of cardstock and flip the outline one and have an instant butterfly. I love the way it turned out. I also used the cutouts from the outline part to accent the card. Dh thought they were too pretty to throw out!! I also scored the butterfly on each side of its body and bent the wings up to add dimension. I only attached the butterfly to the card at the body. The wings are flappy. lol
