I joined a swap on my oriental stamp art group recently. We got 4 large Hanafuda images (playing card game) to use in our art. Well, I got the first set and promptly lost them. Remember my big studio clean? Well, I haven't seen them since then. UGH. So, the host graciously sent me another set so I could still participate in the swap. She is wonderful!! I got the set for August...each set of 4 represents a month on the calendar. All four look like this one only, two of them just have the hills and one has a large sun setting on the hill. I opted to just use the one with the geese. I also did a version of it where the image was stamped on white and painted with watercolors. I can't share that because it will be sent in for publication. My card is nothing fantastic...simple and elegant I call it. lol It is way prettier IRL, because you can see the gold webbing spray better. The picture didn't pick that up as well.
I just figured I would share something to show that I have been creating in my studio...it has all just been for articles and publication, so I couldn't share it. Finally, I made something I could share!
Have a creatively wonderful day!!
