The Pink Elephant Challenge #13

Hey everyone!! I just LOVE Mondays....why???? Because that means that we have a brand new challenge over at The Pink Elephant! This week is a recipe challenge and we are asking you to use circles and scallops on your project. This one was so super easy for me because I love circles and scallops.
I hope you all don't mind that I did two samples this week. First, I wanted to make a stationary set.

I asked my friend Lori Boyd if she minded me printing off the ADORABLE image she drew of me and she said I could!! YIPPEE!!! I know you will all agree with me that Lori needs to get busy making her drawings into stamps or digi stamps!!!! I colored my little 'me' with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. She screamed for a purse, so I drew that, cut it out and attached the main purse with a pop dot, but glued the handles directly so they wouldn't be floating above her hand. Not really much need for instructions. This is pretty straightforward. I also covered a pen and large bulldog clip to coordinate with the journal.
Materials: PAPER Colormates-Heritage Black/White, Cascata-Blue (WorldWin Papers) STAMPS Friendship Blooms (Stampin' Up!), Alphabet (Studio G) INK Versafine-Onyx Black, Versamagic-blue (Tsukineko) OTHER Prismacolor Pencils/Gamsol, Nestabilities-Circle, Scalloped Circle (Spellbinders), Chocolate 4x8 alphabet (Quickutz), Threading Water Punch (Fiskars), Ribbon, Foam tape, Notebook, CropADile, Bulldog clip, pen

Okay, now remember how I told you that I love scallops and circles? Well, not as much as I love Lori's drawings. After doing the stationary set, I wanted to make a magnet out of circles and scallops. So, I called Lori and asked if I could use one of her drawings of her too and she said YES!!

I was so excited to put both of our images on the magnet. I computer generated the sentiment on the main circle. Printed it off and colored the girls with Prismas and Gamsol. I stamped the "you" and "me" and cut everything with Nesties. I assembled it, added a scalloped circle cut from chipboard to the back of the large circle for stability.
Materials: PAPER Pink, Turqoise, Green, White cardstock, Crafty Board(WorldWin Paper) STAMPS Alphabet set (PSX) INK Colorbox Fluid Chalk-Pink, Turqoise, Moss (Clearsnap), Versafine - Onyx Black (Tsukineko) OTHER Prismacolor Pencils/Gamsol, Nestabilities-Circle Scalloped Circle (Spellbinders), Magnet

A huge thank you goes out to Lori Boyd for allowing me to work with her images! I had so much fun coloring these sweet girls!!
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to checkout out what the rest of the TPE design team has done for this challenge. And don't forget to enter yourself!!
Have a creatively wonderful day!
