I am so in love with Anya images from The Greeting Farm. I had to use this digi download to create my Easter card! But, since she is pretty big (I could have made her smaller, but I loved her big! lol), I decided to keep the card very simple and focus on her cuteness!! I colored her with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. Then, I added Stickles to the eggs in her basket and Puffy Fabric Marker to her bunny ears. I just had to make them fuzzy somehow. I have seen them flocked, so I wanted to do something a bit different. I think the puffiness worked well too! I layered her onto yellow cardstock and then onto blue Cuttlebugged cardstock with a ribbon wrapped around it. Finally onto yellow card again and a white card base. I rounded the corners on every layer. The sentiment was stamped and then cut out with a Nestabilities die.Materials: PAPER: Jetprint Matte Photo Paper (International Paper), Cascata-yellow, blue, Colormates-Heritage White (WorldWin Papers) STAMPS: Digi Stamp-Easter Anya (The Greeting Farm), Sentiment (Hero Arts), INK: Versafine-Onyx Black (Tsukineko) OTHER: Cuttlebug Embossing Folder-Bloom Dots (ProvoCraft), Nestabilities-Labels Trio (Spellbinders), Prismacolor Pencils/Gamsol, Stickles-Yellow, Cotton Candy, Lime (Ranger), Puffy Fabric Marker-white (Marvy Uchida), Corner Rounder, Pink Ribbon
Thanks for stopping by! Have a creatively wonderful day!

The purple glitter shows as a brighter purple than it really is. It actually is plum like the rest of the purple elements. I am stuck on making cards that are shaped with Nestabilities. I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol then added the Stickles to bling it out. I also stamped the butterflies, colored and cut them out to add to the card. It is hard to tell in this picture, but they are only attached at their bodies. Their wings are bent upwards. Just a fun little card!
This card uses a sentiment sheet from CDS. I, sadly, always need sympathy or comforting cards for people and this set of stamps definitely fits the bill!! They are beautiful images with wonderful verses on them. I used Labels Two, turning the deeper purple panel the other way for interest. I embossed and inked the lighter layer and also embossed the background panel.
Since I don't own any Stampin Up! cardstock, I found the equivalents in WorldWin Papers. I had to ink up this cute deer from The Greeting Farm!! I stamped him on light Totally Tan (my neutral color) with butterscotch ink and then used my waterbrush to add shading using the same inkpad. Added the sentiment, rounded the bottom corners and did some paper piercing around the edges. I added more paper piercing to the Deep Totally Tan layer and embossed the two blue layers. Added some punched butterflies and I was done. I love the little butterfly landed on his nose!!
For this card, I sprayed the yummy Elan Metallics cardstock with Radian Rains. Normally, I would then hit it with spray webbing (see the butterflies), but I decided to use this pretty Prima felt border. I layed it diagonally across the card and then cut random pieces of it to fill in the empty corners. I thought it looked really cool! Finally I added some rhinestones and butterflies. The sentiment is another panel of the Elan paper sprayed with just the pink RR. The stamp is letters from JustRite.
This card is in the VSN online gallery. Didn't make it into the magazine, but I love it and appreciate Nancie putting it in the gallery! I just used a resist background and dye inks and then stamped and embossed the image in black. I really love the stamp from Art Declassified alot!
I stamped the image on tan cardstock and then colored the car with Twinkling H2Os. I then took a white gel pen to color the roof (has to be a convertible, right?) and add some lines here and then. I went a little crazy with the pen and I don't know if I like the car now, but I wanted it to POP away from the rest of the image. Then I used my Ranger ink applicator to add the same brown ink to the edges of all of the papers and to deepen the background around the car. I stamped the words (also on the plate) and then added some fun retro papers, ribbon and brads. I think it looks like a good time! lol

I just had to break out my new stamps from The Greeting Farm! I just adore the Miss Anya stamps! I figured they would work well for my new found love for paper piecing. I colored her skin, hair and boots with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. then I paper pieced the rest of her outfit. I then added Matte Accents to her boots, hair ties and hearts on her purse to add a bit of sheen, but not gawdy shine. I added the punched border beside her and cut and embossed with an oval Nestabilities. Cut another Nestie oval and layered them together. Added the layers to the card and put Miss Anya on with pop dots. Added pearls, tied a quick bow and added 'sassy' to the bow.
I wanted to make some fun springtime cards to help me remember that Spring IS on the way! These are small (the larger one is about 4"), but they are filled with cheery cuteness and very easy to make.

This really just started by me stamping and embossing the gorgeous scene stamp. I was playing around with my Inktense watercolor pencils and trying to find my mojo! After I was done coloring it, I thought it looked like a little mini painting that needed a frame. So, I pulled out my Nesties and started cutting out frames. I did the black one (and inked with Versamark and embossed with clear to add texture) and then a larger blue one that I also embossed with a Cuttlebug folder after embossing the Nestabilities part. Then, finally onto another black frame. These frames are all layed together with a ribbon woven through the sides and added to the card (stamped image is flat to black base card) on pop dots to create a raised frame around the scene. Finally, I added a bow to one side and two buttons to the other. It is a pretty simple card, I but I was happy with the final result.

Don't you just loooooooooove this elephant? Lori B and I were surfing the net while chatting on the phone and saw this adorable little guy from Sizzix. I made it a mission to find it asap!! Of course Sizzix was sold out, so I did two days of searching to find the best price (and shipping price too!). I found it one place that was cheaper than any other, but it was $10 to ship. rotfl!! Sorry...got on a ramble. I just am a sucker for cute animals lately. Birds and animals are my latest 'thing', I guess!
To make this card, I die cut the elephant in pink and also used a scrap to cut his ear again. I used scraps of brown ruche to cut his toes. I embossed him in Swiss Dots and then adhered the second ear over the embossed one for definition. Added his toes and a scrap of brown behind his eye. White doodling finished him off. I think the rest of the card is pretty straight forward. Just a bunch of layering, pen stitching and buttons.
My doodling isn't obvious. lol I used an Inkssentials white pen to add dots randomly to the background pp. I also added dots to the outer scallops on the sentiment panel. Finally, I doodled dots with my Quickie glue pen to make a flight path for the butterfly and added tiny rhinestones.

I used lots of die cuts for this one, but almost forgot to use ribbon!! YIKES. Luckily, I had a way to add some in the end. The flower is punches. I punched 3 large ones, shaped them and stacked them with a small shaped one. Punched a hole and put it all together with brad. I used Nestabilities for the circles and the large scalloped piece is actually a large scalloped circle that I cut in half. Finally, I used a die cut from the Spellbinders Ribbon Tag Trio set for the sentiment.
